Jeff Dilyard joined the pastoral staff at Pleasant Hill in July 2022 and began as the teaching pastor on June 4th, 2023. After Christ saved him, the Lord began moving Jeff toward pastoral ministry, eventually leading him to study at Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Studies (2021) and a Master of Divinity (2023). Jeff and his wife, Rebecca, are grateful for the opportunity to serve for God’s glory, by God’s grace, and with God’s people.

Reverend Mark Barrios came to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in March 2006 as part time Music Pastor, becoming full time in January 2007. He has a Bachelor of Music Education from Capital University and a Master of Arts in Sacred Music from Pensacola Christian College. He has served in ministry since 1980. Pastor Mark was ordained at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in June 2010. He and his wife, Michelle, reside in Wooster. Married children and spouses include: Josh & Chelsea Northey, Stephen & Anna Weis, Rick & Rebekah Thompson, Patrick & Hannah Jo Barrios, Tim & Michaela Shalala, Drew & Holland Barrios and Jesse & Karina Barrios.

Dwight Strickland joined the staff at PHBC in 2019. Following his years of education and training at Cedarville College and Grace Theological Seminary, he enjoyed over 35 years of pastoring and ministering to God’s people in three different churches. Developing life-long friendships is a joy that God has provided through the ministry of His Word, in sharing their faith in Jesus Christ, discipling, counseling, and fellowship. God has gifted him with a wonderful family that consists of his wife, Cindy, and their three children. Their son, Ben, and his wife, Rachael, along with their children (Leona, James & Tyler) live in Fayetteville, N.C. Daughter, Alissa, and her husband, Dan, along with their children (Owen & Mollie) live in Marshallville, Ohio. Their youngest, Ethan, and his wife, Samantha, along with their children (Kylie & Rory) live in Akron, Ohio.

Reverend Stephen P. Olsen graduated from Baptist Bible Seminary with a Masters of Divinity degree. He accepted the senior pastorate at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Smithville in May 1978. He has led the church through three building programs and most recent, the purchase of a daughter church in Rittman, Ohio in September 2010. Pastor Olsen has been active on the national and state levels of the General Association of Regular Baptist Churches and local fellowships. He has a rich heritage with his father being a pastor, missionary, a Bible college administrator, and serving in the GARBC ministry; his uncle being a life-long GARBC pastor; the godly example of Rev. Willus Hull; and serving under Rev. Jay Long in Mehoopany, PA. Pastor Olsen’s wife, Mary Jane is enjoying retirement from school teaching and is very active with her grandchildren. Their family consists of four children, their spouses, and grandchildren: Ben & Heather Olsen (Brody & Sophia) reside in Wooster, Peter Olsen resides in Smithville, Philip & Cait Olsen (Myra Sue, Jack & Boone) reside in Smithville and Travis & Rebekah Bell (Jase & Nora) who reside in Michigan.
